Daryl Blanchett
President

Born and raised in the Sign Industry, Daryl Blanchett is the third generation to lead Blanchett. Having joined the company in 1987, he was named president in 1999 and has continued to grow the organization since.
Recognized as Sign Professional of the Year in 2017 by the Sign Association of Canada, Daryl is a past president of Edmonton Executives Association and past vice-president of the Alberta Sign Association.
Taylor Blanchett

Part of the fourth generation at Blanchett Neon, Taylor works closely alongside senior management to develop, demonstrate, and execute our vision of excellence every single day.
A founding member of the Sign Association of Canada’s Young Professionals Network, Taylor is passionately driven to promote the sign industry, and was formally recognized as part of the next generation of industry leaders by being named to the ISA Elite Class of 2018.
Darcy McKay
Operations Manager

Darcy brings with him 18 years of operations experience in manufacturing, custom fabrication, and commercial coatings with a depth of knowledge in fabrication, field operations, operational efficiency improvement and supply chain. Most recently, Darcy was with Blue Falls Manufacturing (Arctic Spas) where he focused on manufacturing efficiencies, supply chain cost reductions and optimizing inter company communications and cross training, leading a team of 80 across three fabrication facilities. Darcy is no stranger to a high quality, high efficiency product and we look forward to all Darcy will bring to Blanchett.

Based in Edmonton, Eddy is an Install Supervisor with over 20 years of technical and supervisory experience in field operations and networking. He manages installation and service crews with a hands-on approach, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards. A multilingual communicator fluent in English, French, and Arabic, Eddy excels at troubleshooting complex on-site issues and maintaining seamless coordination between the shop and the field to deliver efficient, professional results.

Don Shaikh brings more than 17 years of B2B sales and marketing leadership to Blanchett, with expertise spanning manufacturing, industrial distribution, oilfield services, and fleet industries across Western Canada. He launched his sales career in oilfield services with Weatherford, an international industry leader, and has since evolved into both a high-performing business development professional and a proven team builder, most recently leading business development and sales operations for an Edmonton-based industrial services company, where he built and directed a team of four from the ground up.
Throughout his career, Don has earned a reputation for bringing structure, discipline, and measurable results to sales organizations. He specializes in implementing the processes, systems, and follow-up rigor that drive accountability, sharpen market visibility, and fuel scalable, profitable growth. At Blanchett, he takes a hands-on leadership role with the sales team, championing qualified lead generation, sharp opportunity prioritization, and relentless pipeline discipline.
Don is passionate about helping Blanchett continue delivering exceptional signage and service to clients throughout the region — and about building a sales team that reflects the same standard of excellence.

With 14 years of graphic design experience, Rob has been in his current role of account manager for over 13 years, specializing in comprehensive signage applications, electronic signage, and corporate solutions.

With a career spanning 45 years, he possesses a comprehensive background in logistics, material handling, and inventory control across the signage, agricultural manufacturing, and petroleum sectors.

A Senior Designer with decades of experience, Jeff specializes in high-end 3D rendering and environmental design. Utilizing advanced SketchUp modeling, he transforms complex concepts into immersive, tangible realities. Jeff’s mastery of 3D visualization ensures every project is polished and purposeful long before it reaches production.
