Currently, we are seeking a Vinyl Applicator to join our industry-leading team of professionals in Edmonton, AB.

This is a full-time position in a unionized, custom manufacturing facility, and the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and installing vinyl graphic images to a variety of substrates within the fabrication process.

This role will report to the Production Manager and join an experienced Fabrication team who will provide full training and support.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures.
  • Prepare and install graphics ranging from decal cut vinyl to large full coverage mural
  • Trimming, laminating, and applying prints to substrates, material preparation and finishing, fabricating signs, installation of a variety of signs.
  • Tracking of working projects, coordinate with other staff for production / installation.
  • Perform routine housekeeping duties in the shop as directed by the production manager and other team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in vinyl application
  • Knowledge and use of various hand and power tools.
  • Fluent in the English language (reading, written, spoken)
  • Able to demonstrate good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Easily read, evaluate, and respond to product specifications and drawings, and perform normal math calculations
  • Able to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
  • Ability to handle changing schedules and priorities, with high level prioritization skills
  • Strong work ethic and organizational planning skills with attention to detail preferred.
  • Regularly required to stand/sit, talk/hear, stoop, climb, lift, balance, kneel and use of hands/fingers to operate tools, machinery and materials
  • Moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) may be required
